God, You made us, the people of Our Lady of Charity, into a church family.
We need one another; we forgive one another; we love one another. We work together;
we play together. We worship together and together we celebrate our sacraments.
In this parish we serve our God and we serve one another. And together
we hope for heaven.
Bless us, O Lord, and all that we do as part of this church family. Bless,
too, all those members of your family who are part of the history of this place.
Bless those who were baptized here, received Your Body and Blood here, pledged love in
marriage here or passed through death to new life here in this church. Bless the
ordinary people who prayed here Sunday after Sunday and who experienced a special presence
of Christ within these walls. Bless those who built this church and those who kept
it going.
Bless all who have walked and who will walk through these doors and into this
church. May they always meet the Lord and his faithful people here. We ask
this, mindful of your love and special concern for your people, through Christ Our Lord.
